There are four items to consider when choosing the best occupational health program: equipment, admissions requirements, accreditation, and faculty. Occupational health programs can be organized within a larger community college or university, as part of the Faculty of Medicine. Occupational health is a supportive health service, working with people who have disabilities or have experienced a long illness. Using work and work activities, the occupational health professional improves both the physical and mental well-being of the patient.
