My boyfriend and i have been together 1 year and 4 months today. Lately in our relationship it has felt more loved up than we have been for ages, its like going back to when we first got together. In all the time i have known him he has never really been very romantic so yesterday when i went round his i opened the door to his room to a great shock to find him dressed up, candles lit all round the room and playing one of my favourite songs. He gave me a massge because he knew i was stressed after my day and everything was perfect. I couldn't believe my luck and because we never really celebrate any of our little anniversaries like the months only the main ones, i thought what the hell to make some effort too after what he had done.
I decided on going out for a meal and asked him this morning but he said he is staying in with his mam and having a takeaway. I was quite gutted at this because i was looking forward to spending some time with him somewhere different for a change since we don't go much and i would love some time having a meal, cinema, etc. He invited me over for the takeaway with his mam and brother and i said i would go, just so i could actually see him. But since i don't like takeaways alot and i am a fussy eater and i did not know what was on the menu to the one they were going to. So i asked what i would like that they did and basically this got into an arguement because all i wanted was suggestions since he knows the kinds of food i would eat that the menu had, and he decided i would not be allowed to come for food because i am a pain in the arse and would stress everyone out by looking and deciding what i would like, if i liked out off the menu. So he said i can go after food, but now that just seems awkward.
It seems like its gone from the most perfect day to a massive arguement over nothing. I am angry at how its like cause i don't know exactly what i want to eat i have been left out. But now i am confused to whether i should go over after they have had food, if he wants me actually to be there in the first place, or whether is should not go at all. I just wanted to ask some opinions about what i should do, and how to deal with this situation.
